Our students, teachers, and families came together to recognize the value of personalized education. The week-long celebration ended with a joyful School Choice Parade, where our students proudly showcased their school spirit!
What Is School Choice Week?
National School Choice Week (NSCW) is an annual event that highlights the different education options available to families, including public, private, charter, magnet, home, and online schools. It’s all about empowering parents and students to choose the best learning environment for their success.
At Phyls Academy, we are proud to provide a nurturing, high-quality education that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.
How We Celebrated at Phyls Academy
Throughout the week, students and teachers engaged in special activities to explore what makes Phyls Academy special. Some of the highlights included:
🎨 Creative Projects – Students designed posters and banners to express what they love most about their school.
📖 Storytelling & Discussions – Teachers led engaging discussions about the importance of education and how different learning environments help students grow.
🎭 Spirit Week – Each day featured a different theme, from “Proud to Be a Phyls Student” day to “Future Leaders in Learning” day.
And of course, the grand finale…
The School Choice Parade: A Celebration of Education!
To wrap up School Choice Week, our students and staff came together for an energetic and colorful parade! With signs, banners, and plenty of school spirit, our Phyls Academy community proudly marched, celebrating the freedom to learn in a supportive and enriching environment.
Seeing our students embrace their education with enthusiasm reminded us why school choice matters—because every child deserves a place where they feel inspired, valued, and empowered to succeed.
